One of the world's most famous violinists - Joshua Bell busked in the DC Metro during rush hour.  Watch and see how many people stop to listen.

This is why we love him!

This is me!  A few years ago I was flatting with an audio engineering student who wanted to record something, so did the Ashokan Farewell playing both viola parts.  I had completely forgotten about it until a pupil today was playing it.   The images are from the big snow storm which hit Timaru a few months before I moved to Auckland.

My pupil Haylee, Aged 8 drew me a picture (Haylee is a little older now)

This is a brilliant movie with a lovely soundtrack.  In the series along with Vivaldi's Ring of Mystery, Mozart's Magic Fantasy, Tchaikovsky Discovers America and Mozart's Magnificent Voyage.  Worth a watch :)

I love the Muppets - and here's a fantastic version of Beethoven's Ode to Joy...muppet style!

 Pixar's One Man Band
I love this!

I had the pleasure of meeting Midori.  She is lovely, graceful and shorter than me!  Such a beautiful tone to her playing.
